Most nationalities (including the UK, USA, Canada and Australia) do not need a visa to enter Mexico for tourism purposes, however you can be given anywhere between 10-180 days on arrival. Make sure to ask for the correct number of days from the agent and double check the stamp in your passport for the departure date to make sure it aligns with your travel plans. You will need at least 6 months remaining validity and 2 blank pages in your passport. It’s also recommended to have onward travel booked out of Mexico before travelling there, as you may get asked for proof of this before boarding your flight to Mexico.
