At INTRO our commitment to responsible travel is a key principle, and the driving force behind our Small Change initiative, which we launched in 2017.
Since 2019 we've been planting trees every time someone books a tour. Then in late 2023 we began measuring the CO2 emissions of every tour, and began our partnership with Veritree - to plant more than enough trees to capture those emissions. We decided to plant mangrove trees because they are cheap to plant, grow fast, and not only capture lots of carbon, but are good for marine life and preserving ecosystems.

We accurately measure the emissions from every tour, then we plant enough trees to sequester those emissions.
